How much do daily disposable contacts cost?

Question
Recently, I've thought about playing tennis but it wouldn't look nice if I was wearing glasses. So I searched up contact lens pros and cons and I got this gruesome news story on how this guy almost lost his vision because of an infection in his contact lens so I decided to get disposable ones. How do they work? How much do they cost? Do they expire? Let's say I go to tennis practice 2 times a week, can I wear 2 pairs disposable contacts a week only or do I have to wear a pair everyday? This question kind of relates to the expiring question.
Answer
Contacts are very safe and healthy if used and cleaned and cared for properly. You put them in when you want to, and take them out before you go to bed. That's the basic idea. They make ones that you put in and out for 2 weeks, a month, 3 months....and use the same pair over and over but for what you are talking about, dailies do sound like your best bet. You put them in when you want and then throw them away after 1 use. They are generally more expensive ($400-$600 a year) but that is if you wear a pair everyday. If you only wear them recreationally (to play tennis) then you will not need nearly as many and can buy a 30 pack at a time which may last you several months. They do expire, dailies are good for a day, 2 weeks are good for 2 weeks, etc...if you get 2 week disposables and only wear them say twice a week, you can keep them in your solution for up to 30 days before you have to replace them.
